Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about connecting, optimizing, and building with BayKit.
How do I connect my eBay account?
Go to Settings → eBay Integration and click Connect eBay Account. You will be redirected to eBay's OAuth consent screen. After granting access, BayKit imports your active listings automatically — usually within 2–5 minutes depending on inventory size.
How many listings can I optimize at once?
On Starter you can optimize listings one at a time. Pro and Business plan users can use bulk optimization — select up to 100 listings and queue them for AI processing in a single action. Results are available as each job completes.
What eBay APIs does BayKit use?
BayKit uses the eBay Browse API for search data, the Sell Inventory API for listing management, the Trading API for legacy operations, and the Analytics API for impression and performance metrics. All access is scoped to your authorized account.
Can I use BayKit with multiple eBay accounts?
Multi-account management is available on the Business plan. You can connect up to 5 eBay seller accounts and switch between them from the account selector in the top navigation bar.
How does the AI generate optimized titles?
BayKit sends your listing details — item specifics, category, current title, and description — to Claude. The model analyzes top-performing listings in the same category and generates a title that maximizes keyword coverage within eBay's 80-character limit while remaining natural and buyer-friendly.
